What this site is
feldspire is an independent, non-commercial publication about mobile games, operated by Colin Mahaffy in Victoria, British Columbia. It sells nothing, distributes no software, and takes no payment from the developers it writes about. Reading it costs nothing and requires no account.
Accuracy and the shelf life of a fact
Everything here was checked against the Canadian Google Play and Canadian App Store listings on the date printed beside it, currently 20 July 2026. Store listings change without warning: prices move, ratings drift, an update lands, a game is delisted. One price on this site differed by more than six dollars between the two platforms on the day it was checked, and that is printed as a discrepancy rather than resolved into a single tidy figure.
Check the store before you buy anything. We publish observations with dates attached, not guarantees about the state of a listing today.
Headcounts
The Hands figure is our assessment based on the sources set out on the method page. It reflects credited, verified builders and cannot account for uncredited contributors. It is a headcount and it is not a quality rating. Where evidence was insufficient, the site says so instead of estimating.
Trade marks and screenshots
Game names, studio names, logos and screenshots belong to their respective owners. They appear here for the purpose of review, commentary and news reporting. Screenshots are reproduced from the official public store listings and are credited on the page and in the footer disclaimer. feldspire is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Apple Inc., Google LLC, or any developer or publisher named on this site.
If you are a rights holder and object to a specific use, write to [email protected] and it will be dealt with promptly.
Links to the stores
Every download button here points to an official Google Play or App Store listing and nowhere else. We do not host, mirror, repackage or link to application files, modified builds, unofficial mirrors or any other way of getting a game outside the official stores. Once you follow a link, the terms and policies of that store apply, not ours.
Our own words
The written content, layout and code of this site are the work of feldspire. Quoting a passage with attribution and a link is welcome. Republishing a whole page is not.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us at the contact page. Corrections with a source get made, and material corrections are noted on the card rather than silently swapped out. That policy is the only reason a site like this deserves to be believed.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We take reasonable care with the facts, but we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the content, availability, security or behaviour of any third-party site or application you reach from here. Nothing here is professional advice.
Age
The site is written for a general adult readership. Age ratings for individual games are printed on their cards as the stores publish them. Games carrying simulated gambling or loot box advisories are excluded from coverage entirely.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The effective date at the top changes when they are, and the current version is always the one on this page.
